No Papa

I was listening to the Frieza Saga earlier today when something Frieza said caught my attention, as if for the first time. He says to Goku: 'You're the first person to actually inflict pain on my true form. Well, besides my loving parents.'

My overactive imagination began its work, and I wondered if Frieza was born evil, or if he was made that way by his father. And I could actually imagine a young Frieza during a time when he may have been arrogant, but not bloodthirsty. I have events in mind which could have changed him permanently, but for nor now this is just a study. I don't think anyone would have problems imagining King Cold being abusive towards his sons.
